About me

Hi, I’m Sarah, the founder of The Postnatal Support Hub.

I’m a nurse, midwife, and NIPE practitioner, and I’ve spent my career caring for women, babies, and families.  Over the years, I developed a real passion for supporting mums after birth a time when life changes so much, but the support often starts to fade.

My own experience of motherhood has made that passion even stronger.  I became a mum to my eldest through IVF, and later welcomed my twins, who were born prematurely at 32 weeks and spent time in special care.  I understand first-hand how emotional, overwhelming, and exhausting those early months can be, and how much of a difference the right support can make.

That’s why I created The Postnatal Support Hub a place where mums can find trusted, evidence based information, practical advice, and a supportive community.

Whether you’re looking for guidance on your baby’s development, reassurance about milestones, or support with your own wellbeing, you’ll find a safe and welcoming space here.

As both a healthcare professional and a mum of three, my goal is simple: to help every mum feel informed, confident, and supported—because support shouldn’t end when you leave the maternity unit. 💜

You do not need to have all the answers. You do not need to struggle alone. Whatever support you need—whether for yourself, your baby, your partner, or your family as a whole—we are here to listen, guide, and support you every step of the way.

Because when parents are supported, families flourish.
